UNWTO World Tourism Barometer
 
 
The UNWTO World Tourism Barometer is a regular publication of the Market Intelligence and Promotion Department of UNWTO aimed at monitoring the short-term evolution of tourism and providing the sector with relevant and timely information.

The UNWTO World Tourism Barometer is published three times a year (January, June, and October). The first issue was published in June 2003.

It contains three permanent elements: an overview of short-term tourism data from destination countries and air transport, a retrospective and prospective evaluation of tourism performance by the UNWTO Panel of Tourism Experts and selected economic data relevant for tourism.
 
 
UNWTO Member States, Associate Members and Affiliate Members receive the UNWTO World Tourism Barometer as a part of member's service.

Tourists and visitors should benefit, in compliance with international law and national legislation, from the liberty to move within their countries and from one State to another, in accordance with Article 13 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights; they should have access to places of transit and stay and to tourism and cultural sites without being subject to excessive formalities or discrimination;
