At our last meeting, held on March 29th, we surveyed the meeting attendees to find out what different people throughout Virginia expected from VETA. The company is lead by Timothy Gordon, a veteran of the adventure and active travel industry. Before becoming a travel publisher, Gordon spent over 22 years in recreational/hospitality management with a focus on the adventure travel sector. Over the course of his 22 years in the business he worked as a river operations manager for eight seasons, a packer and outfitter for Yosemite National Park, a snowmobile guide, a cross-country ski guide and he worked for six years in the Guest Ranch industry as a wrangler, guest services manager and general ranch manager. He is also a level 5 certified ski instructor with the Professional Ski Instructors Association and is certified in scuba diving and advanced cliff-side and mountain rescue by the California Fire Marshal

ECOTOURISM MELANESIA is a Port Moresby-based tour operator specialising in ecotourism experiences in Papua New Guinea and Solomon Islands.
