On Friday nights, the air fills with Bluegrass Music from the Rosine Barn Jamboree. Feel free to stay and listen, if you get hungry you can grab a snack from the historic Rosine General Store. Welcome to Ohio County! We are a county bursting with pride and heritage. There are many quiet towns full of welcoming, friendly people who are willing to lend a hand or share a laugh. For our hunters and fishermen, Ohio county is a major deer producer in the state, and provides more wild turkeys annually than any other Kentucky county. You can also spend your afternoon relaxing by a lake, stream, or pond trying to catch the perfect large-mouth bass, crappie, or catfish. We also offer a wide variety of activities from museums, horse shows, festivals and more...! Feel free to browse around our site, and who knows you may just find the unexpected.
